Project HAiku
SO as an exercise in fun, I decided to give everyone a chance to be creative. I had them pick the name of another SWAY employee out of a hat and then I asked them to write a Haiku about the person they chose… We were surprised at the several mentions of types of alcohol. OK, no we weren’t…

Since we have an employee by the name of Cesar Chavez, we decided to throw a culturally sensitive thematic party in his honor for Cesar Chavez Day. The only problem was… he didn’t show up.

WatchLOOK! We caught Kanye West dancing in our lobby! Kidding. We have a motion capture of an exotic dancer that we use to test all of our rigs. If the rig breaks when we apply the animation, we know we have to rework it. This is the Kanye West model we used for the Complex Magazine cover story doing that forbidden lady dance. Get down, go ahead get down.
WatchWhen Crispin Porter + Bogusky approached SWAY Studio about making a Burger King breakfast wrap, we initially misinterpreted the phone conversation and wrote the rap above.
After an awkward conversation with the producer, we found out they were looking for us to animate food, not lay down rhymes. Live and learn. Here is where we landed.
